This graph scales the CO<sub>2<\/sub> and temperature changes assuming a transient climate sensitivity of around 1.8\u00baC. We have tracked this on an annual basis for a decade or so, but it&#8217;s probably easier to maintain them here for reference. <em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclimate.org\/index.php\/archives\/2022\/05\/river-ice-break-up-trends-2022\/\" title=\"River Ice break-up trends 2022\">Last discussion<\/a>, updated 5\/1\/2025)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CMIP6 Climate Sensitivity Histogram<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was originally made in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclimate.org\/index.php\/archives\/2021\/08\/notallmodels\/\" title=\"#NotAllModels\">2021<\/a>, but as models were added and calculations fixed, it has changed a little.
