The length of the line is matched to the frequency of the pulsing so that successive pulses are plotted almost on top of each other. Some people preferred a different temperature scale, so I added a Fahrenheit line (though perhaps <a href=\"https:\/\/xkcd.com\/1379\/\">ice age units<\/a> would the best: 1 IAU = 5\u00baC).
