Who we are

Our website address is: https://www.realclimate.org. We are a collection of climate scientists who blog about climate science and related issues.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we save the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. The IP address/browser user agent/email information is not used for any other purpose and not supplied to any third party.

Contact forms

The contact form saves an email address for notification of new posts or a digest. The emails are not used for any other purpose and are not provided to anyone else.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
